The Internet is a tool, ideal for research and information retrieval of all types. Dependence on the Internet in schools, universities, businesses and of course at home, has grown rapidly - even if are not fortunate enough to have a computer in the home, chances are high that your children are online while at school, at home and at friends' houses. Online, children have an endless, constantly updated storehouse of information at their fingertips, they can enlist the help of experts in almost any field for expert advice, they can entertain themselves, associate with others including their friends and making new friends, and also be exposed to new ideas and world views that were unavailable, either intentionally or unintentionally, just 20 years ago.
